Hub Update – Week 7

Data and Information for Week 7 of the Hub

WCC Funding:
Warwickshire County Council have granted us £175 of funding for the running of the Hub. Thank you to Tara for her help filling in the application and to the Church Council for allowing us to use their Bank Account for our funds.

Care Packages for Volunteers:
I hope most the volunteers who require gloves, masks and hand sanitiser now have them. If you require more of these please contact Nikki to arrange collection.

Food Bank referrals:
From 4pm on Monday 18th May the Hub will be fully set up to make referrals to both Stratford upon Avon and Fosse way food bank. if you are aware of anyone requiring support from the Food-bank please refer them to Nikki Moon via the Hub contact channels.

New Call handlers:
Firstly a big thank you to Clare Harriss for her great work being first point of contact for Ettington villagers. Clare remains an active volunteer but has passed on the cal handler duty to Colette and Kate so she can return to work. Welcome Colette and Kate and thank you both for volunterring for this important role.

Goodbye to Volunteers:
A huge thank you and goodbye to Sally and George for their support over the past few weeks, George has returned home and hopefully back to work soon and Sally is now working full time supporting the test, track and trace scheme which will play such an important part of our coming out of lockdown fully.

Hub site evolution:
The hub website is now set up so that clients and volunteers can request a prescription pick up and delivery without having to call the Hub direct. For volunteers assisting clients with prescriptions please do look at the form and assist your clients to use it where possible. Please note a client does need to be fully registered with us (using the ‘Need Help from a Volunteer’ form) before they can use the prescription form. Any questions on this to let us know.

Week 7 Data:

This weeks Data.

Total No of Prescription delivered – 48

No of shopping deliveries this week from the Hub – 3
No of Spar deliveries made by volunteers – awaiting data
Total number of shopping deliveries – 296 +Spar deliveries.

(NB the apparent Discrepancy in number of clients and number of volunteers deployed is because many of our Clients require prescriptions from Hastings House and we have had to nominate one person to collect all those prescriptions on a weekly basis so one person delivers to multiple people).
